Join local historian Steven Horton of Liverpool Hidden History for this booking only (limited to 10 people) walking tour of Gateacre Village on Saturday 18th September2021 at 11am.

Steven will talk about the history of some of the oldest parts of the village, the home of one of Liverpool’s most famous Victorian residents – Andrew Barclay Walker, and tell some quirky tales of local residents, including the Crimea War veteran who lived locally and was still fathering children when aged in his seventies.

The walk lasts about an hour and a half and costs £5 per adult, under 16 free. It is strictly booking only due to the narrow pavements and traffic noise in the area.

It will start from the Wilson Memorial on the Village Green.
