A walking tour of part of Liverpool with a real village feel.
This takes in the hamlet of St Michaels and its cast iron church, as well as homes of some of notable residents and other significant buildings in the area. These include foundry owner John Cragg, responsible for much of the development.
Buildings include St Charles Borromeo Church, Hamlet Church and Sefton Park library, whilst other notable local residents include politicians, ship owners, writers, broadcasters, bishops and medical men.
Theres also some crime stories, including a woman whose mitigation for killing her husband was accepted by the jury.
the tour starts and finishes from the Churrasco steak house at the corner of Aigburth Road and Livingston Drive, cost £5 per adult free for 17 and under. Cash on the day or online via the payment link.
