Join local historian and author Steven Horton for a walking tour of one of Liverpool’s most interesting districts.

Starting at the lock up by the village green, the tour will take in the home of James Allanson Picton (who donated the clock tower), old inns, churches, schools, crime scenes, signs of the old village’s rural past, some mysterious tales and much more.

The tour lasts around 90 minutes and starts from old lock up off Lake St (L15 8JS) at 11am, cost is £5 per adult 17 and under free, or advance card payment via link below. Any advance payments will be refunded if you cannot attend.
